Background

Mrs. Enright obtained her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in 2016 in San Diego, California where she graduated with an area of concentration in Health Law and Policy, with Honors, with a focus in Medical Malpractice Litigation. During her time at California Western School of Law she was inducted into the Pro Bono Honors Society after completing over 100 hours of pro bono legal service.

​Jordan Enright joined Smythe & Jones at the outset when Smythe & Jones opened in January 2020. Mrs. Enright is the eldest daughter of partner Marianne Jones. The two have worked together at Jones Law Group PLLC prior to the inception of Smythe & Jones PLLC. Jordan passed both the California and Washington State Bar exams shortly after graduating. Mrs. Enright currently practices in both Washington State and California.

She speaks nearly fluent Spanish which enabled her to provide legal service and aid to the homeless and indigent individuals in San Diego California through the Community Law Project.

Mrs. Enright is currently on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Board of her law school California Western School of Law where they were able to provide financial grants to recently graduated law students.

Mrs. Enright has been dubbed the Settlement Queen of the law firm resolving a significant percentage of her cases in a wide array of matters from racial discrimination, disability discrimination, business disputes, property and HOA disputes, construction defect, and general consumer law.

Mrs. Enright’s high exposure to a wide variety of areas of civil litigation provides her with extensive general and specific knowledge that she utilizes in all aspects of her cases. This experience coupled with her exceptional communication skills helps her to effectively and diligently represent her clients.

Jordan was a referral from another attorney. I retained her to litigate against a dishonest building contractor who requested a sizeable cash draw from me early-on, and literally fled without completing most parts of the construction. Jordan is very competent and adept (controlling cost and time spent on only the essentials of litigation). The lawsuit was protracted because the defendant stonewalled time after time, and claimed he only had a few hundred dollars left in his name. Jordan proved that he was lying and at the end, was able to discover that this was a "family heist" - with most of the funds "squirreled" away in his wife's bank account. I was able to settle favorably and collect most of the money. Highly recommend Jordan for those who might end up in an unfortunate situation of being duped by a crooked contractor.

Ms. Jones was referred to me by a construction contractor that had nothing but success with her as a lawyer and my experience was the same. I am a sub of a contractor who did not pay for our services performed for nearly 1 year. Once Ms. Jones got involved we received payment right away. Furthermore she was able to negotiate and receive payment for remaining portion of project so we could finish it knowing payment would not be an issue.
